Fasting purifies the soul. It lifts up the mind. Relieve the physical body. It makes the heart simple and humble. Scatters the cloud of desire. Puts out flames of lust. The light in the soul becomes clear.

What can I eat?



Living Plant-Based

Eating simple and nourishing plant foods

Daniel fast is a healthy vegan diet that excludes processed foods, added sugars and leavened breads.

PLANT BASED DIET: fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts, seeds

NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS: no meat, poultry, fish, eggs or diary

NO ADDED SWEETENERS: fruit is only source of sugar

NO LEAVENED BREADS: no baking yeast, baking powder or baking soda

REAL FOOD ONLY: No processed or rafined foods, artificial flavours or chemical additives

WATER IS PRIMARY BEVERAGE: Plant based milks (rice, almond, oat,…) and fresh pressed juices are also acceptable

AUTOFAGIA: For first time you may choose to fast just for 10 days.


70% fruits and vegetables

30% vegetable fats, proteins and whole carbohydrates


FRUITS: Apples, Plums, Berries, Grapes, Peaches, Melon, Watermelon, Pears, Dates, Golden apple, etc.

VEGETABLES: Broccoli, Cauliflower, Spinach, Kale, Carrots, Peppers, Mushrooms, Zucchini, Eggplant, Asparagus, Brussels Sprouts, Parsnips, Potatoes, etc.

NUTS: Almonds, Walnuts, Cashews, Pecans, Pistachios, Hasselnuts, Peanuts etc.

SEEDS: Hemp, Chia, Flax, Pumpking seeds, Sunflowerseeds etc.

BEANS: Lentils, Beans, Chick Peas, Soy Beans, Tofu, etc.

GRAINS: Spelt, Oats, Barley, Buckwheat, Millet, Rye, Quinoa etc.

SWEETENERS: Sugar is replaced by fruit and vegetable sweeteners. We can use also raw honey.
